One in four American children grows up without a father in the home. You found this organization because that number means something to you.
Founding membership in Fathering the Fatherless is open to anyone who believes godly fatherhood changes the trajectory of families — and who wants to be part of the community that is building toward that change. Members are advocates, volunteers, donors, mentors, professionals, and supporters who show up for this mission in whatever way they are equipped to give.
This is not a governance role. It is a community of people who are serious about the same thing.
Membership attracts:
Community advocates (parents, educators, social workers, mentors) passionate about fatherless youth, widows, and foster kids.
Volunteers and donors eager to participate in events (e.g., Father-Daughter Dances, 5Ks) or provide resources.
Professionals with expertise (counselors, event planners) offering support.
Families/allies of fatherless children.
General supporters empathetic to the cause, including virtual involvement from outside Tennessee.
As an Active Member:
Provide advisory input via non-binding votes on programmatic matters (e.g., events, priorities) at the annual membership meeting.
One vote per member (individual or organization) on advisory topics.
Stay connected through updates, volunteer opportunities, and grassroots engagement.
Annual dues: $50/year — due January 1 annually, prorated for mid-year joins.
